I think she's wearing those high heels just for rehearsal/sound check as you can seen on that picture. I doubt she'll use it on the live show. About those grey stuff, I had no clue about it, sorry.

Hard to say for sure but my guess is it's a pocket wi-fi. Their batteries don't last all day so they could be charging it while using it.

Other options are a portable hard drive or some kind of media player. But I think pocket wi-fi makes more sense because there's another laptop they're using and it would need some way to be net connected also, so they are probably both connected through that.
