Jet were an Australian rock band formed in 2001 while attending St Bede's College Mentone in Melbourne. The band consisted of lead guitarist Cameron Muncey, bassist Mark Wilson, and brothers Nic and Chris Cester on vocals/rhythm guitar and drums respectively. The group sold 6.5 million albums.

Im a huge Jet fan! felt really bad when they broke up tho ._.

I knew JET back in year 7 (4 years ago) they were the only rock band I knew, I loved their music. Even after knowing various other artists I still listen to JET every now and then. They're just awesome!

I hope they come back together and make another single, EP or Album. I don't wish Shaka Rock to be their last album... =_=

I was devo when I found out they disbanded...

I used to like them when I was younger, their last album kind of turned me off them though. It's a shame that there aren't any Australian bands that I like nowadays especially considering the big influence Australia has had on rock in the good old days.

nice rock n roll music in my opinion, but I'm kinda disappoint because they disbanded the band, unlike The Datsuns that still rock n roll until now .rage.

Jet was a pretty cool band. First heard "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" on the radio, and around that time the tune was just so contagious that you heard it everyday and everywhere. Went on to like their other songs "Show Me Where Your Mouth Is" and later on "Rip It Up". Sad to hear about the band splitting up, but they made great music while they were together so there's no shame in that. :bd
