Yup they wear lens. It makes their eyes big and expressive at all.

Yeah they do.... its actually quite obvious... I mean who has massive eyes like that? Come on we all know how big an iris is...

Rina's actually less obvious to me. Haruna's lenses have a really obvious outline around the iris, and massive pupils.

They don't always wear them, though. Mostly for occasions when they know they will be photographed. They also vary the color sometimes. They're not trying to fool anybody, it's just fashion.

I wasn't really sure if they really did wear it 'cause in some pictures they have that really big eye but you can't really see the circle lens so yeah lol they look really pretty with cl though

I take this opportunity to ask something about their lenses hehe :

It's not corrective lenses ? (I wear glasses I never tried lenses). Because sometimes they wear glasses, but maybe it's just for fashion not corrective ones.

I somewhere read that at least Haruna needs corrective ones...? But I'm not sure.

Many Japanese girls do have poor eyesight, but they are also worn as a fashion thing.
My daughter has 7 different colours of contact lenses just for her cosplay.
But I have seen Haruna wearing normal glasses as well.

As far as I can remember, Tomo and Haru need corrective lenses/glasses. I recall reading somewhere (either a blog entry or in an interview transcript) that Haru has particularly poor eyesight.

The picture is from Budokan and that was really a special thing ^^ I read somewhere that it's a tradition to have special outfit/style for Budokan so Haru did the whole package and added the special lens.

Haru needs them anyway but didn't know Tomo too

Haru is really cute with the glasses i wish she would wear them more
