does anyone here read bakuman? well, i have really fallen for its work-comedy-school-life genre. And it really surprises me that it already got an Anime! Lets discuss it here!

Manga: Very enjoyable, and one of my all time favourite mangas.

Anime: Planned for 26 episodes, not sure how they will split from the original story, or if they will have a second season. Animation staff did a terrible job, Toaru was their main project this season.

Manga: the best slice of life iv'e read so far. As expected from Ohba and Obata .clap.


Anime: Still waiting for the whole season to finish

oh? 26 episodes only? i wonder how will they impart some sense of completeness on the final episodes. i guess they will just use the taito arc, what do you think?

Most likely, I cannot see them going any further with only 26 episodes..

There are rumours of season 2 coming out fall 2011.

I won't doubt it though!

Cool for the second season but i hope it's will better than the first because it's not very good, not dynamic and the draw are not good =/

ASHIROGI's world is getting messed up ( in a good way though ). The fans are going wild now; the negative side of fandom. hahaha

That chapter got my heart beating faster than usual :D can't wait for the next chapter!
Do you think Azuki and Mashiro will still get married after this? The authors seem to be hinting that marriage won't happen yet even though they got an anime..

Bakuman was such an amazing series. I cannot wait to finish reading it when it comes out. I think Bakuman was one of the more interesting of mangas out there in WSJ.

I cannot wait for the ending, and will definitely buy all the volumes when they come out in english.

I also look forward to their new work in the future!

Just read the last chapter. It was really an amazing series. I'm looking forward to Season 3 of the anime and the next work of the authors!

i don;t read the manga but more watch the anime. its really nice. but to bad its all gona end with season 3 . hope there will be more.

@dark IMO youre not missing much by not watching anime if youve finished manga, since there aren't fighting scenes or what not that look better animated...

I haven't read a page of the manga but the anime is really good. Its currently on its 3rd season right now. Thoroughly enjoyable.
