Hey all German and German speaking SH-members!
What's up?
As discussed in the [Ger] member thread before, we would like to start an activity to raise the degree of popularity of SCANDAL in Germany. More Popularity -> more fans -> bigger chance to bring SCANDAL to Germany.
The idea was to write E-mails to the editorial staffs ot Germany's most popular Japanese culture and youth magazines.
Now that the Overdrive PV is out and also their new album Standard is waiting in the wings, it's a perfect time to start!
Great! How can I join in?!
You can join by giving us a short feedback that you join and then of course write an E-mail to the adresses below.
What should I write?
Well at first you have to consider that the people we're adressing to, don't know SCANDAL at all. So don't just write things like "I want SCANDAL in your magazine!"
Present SCANDAL to them, do some advertising! Tell them why you like them, and why Germany totally needs to learn more about them! It is also recommendable to send some links like the official homepage and of course of some PV's at youtube, dailymotion etc. Since we all know that SCANDAL PV's are had to find, serve them some.
But keep in mind, that the staffs probably won't have a lot of time to read our mails. So keep it short and simple.
Last but not least, be polite! We are the ones that want something from them!
When do we start?
To give the others a bit time to get informed, let's start on Monday, September 16! It's okay, if you don't have the time directly on Monday. People can write later, too. Maybe we ccan keep up a constant demand.
Okay, okay! I'm convinced! Now stop talking tell me the adresses!
The magazines we've discussed before are Animania (Anime-magazine), Bravo (youth magazine), koneko (Japanese culture) and Popcorn (youth magazine).
Here are the E-mail adresses:
Animania: info@animania.de
Bravo: post@bravo.de
Koneko: cu@raptor.de *
Popcorn: feedback@popcorn-mag.de
*Koneko seems to be a smaller magazine, that's why I only found an E-mail adress of the whole publisher, not a specific adress for Koneko. So best would be mentioning Koneko in the subject heading.
So far, that's all for now. Let's take action!
Greetings
Hasenfu
