Anyways, we have the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 going on right now! Canada tied Netherlands 1-1, which I guess is better than losing. (Unlike my soccer team I play in, we lost 6-2 today XD)

I'm not that much of a fan that I watch games, never mind going to them, but I still follow the scores... totally counts  .cool.

So I was wondering if there was anyone else there who follows it too

There's not much in terms of sporting news here so the Womens World Cup is pretty much fed down our throats, not that I'm complaining. I try to tune into games where Canada's playing or if there's a high chance it'll be a pub stomp (SUI vs ECU was delicious).

I'll pick Germany to be this year's champion. Safe and boring pick, I know. But I'm also open to seeing upsets from the US, Brazil, or defending champs Japan.

I will always be a Hope Solo fan despite of her recent troubles with the law. She is simply an extraordinary goalkeeper. Don't forget, she is sexy too!

Wow, I'm super late but I watched the France matches and Japan - USA (it ended at 3AM in France lol). I was for Japan (sorry US members ), but USA won. When I was watching the match, I was sure that the japanese goalkeeper was annoyed by the sun (for 2 goals sure).

Congratulations to the US team ! And indeed, Hope Solo is awesome. This World Cup was more exiting than the men competition IMO. Overall, the teams were really into their matches and tried their best (unlike some men teams, especially France, they are just playing for the money).
