Let's begin another SCANDAL HEAVEN Fan Letter Project, this time for their world tour, SCANDAL WORLD TOUR 2015「HELLO WORLD」!


Here's RINA with our previous Fan Letter Project the US members gave to the band in Hawaii:



For this project, we will be making and giving 3 separate projects to SCANDAL: one from Europe, one from the USA, and one from Asia.

As always, every SH member worldwide can participate in this project. It doesn't matter what country/continent you're on/from; you can choose any project you want your submissions to be included in, or you can also submit them to all 3!

Guidelines:
• You may submit things such as letters, drawings, and collages.
• For letters, you can either submit plain text or design a page on a program like Photoshop.
• You may submit as many pages as you want.
• Letters must be written in English or Japanese.
• The size of your submissions must not be larger than 8.5 x 11 inches (A4 size paper).
• Avoid doing anything that cannot be inserted into plastic sleeves.
• Everything must be family-friendly—you may not submit anything inappropriate.

Project Status:
• Europe - Project successfully given to the band!
• USA - Project successfully given to the band!
• Asia - Project successfully given to the band!

Sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind supporting that kind of activity. I guess it doesn't really matter when it was given to the band, et al., as long as they got it.

Though, I think it would also be interesting (though much more complicated) to have a book for each region/country they visited, personalized for that locality. Probably too much logistics required, though.

We've always officially called it the "SCANDAL HEAVEN Fan Letter Project"; could you please retitle your post as such?

Like saldiven, I too think it would be interesting if we could give them a project from each country/continent they visit. I don't think it would be possible to do one from Taiwan or HK, though, since they have their own fan group and there aren't many of them on SH anyway.

So, to make things a little easier, perhaps we can give them two projects: one from the US and one from Europe, with the UK and French fans combining their efforts. What do you guys think?

I think we could give everyone worldwide the option to choose which project they'd like to be a part of, or maybe even both if they'd want to.

What kind of deadline do you mean?

I forgot to write that we could also designate which countries/continents would send their letters to which project (ex: those in Asia could send them to the US project). That could possibly work out more smoothly.

BTW, I just looked through the info from the previous even y'all did in Hawaii, and it was both amazing and depressing. If I had known about it early enough, I absolutely would have joined you there.

But yeah, pretty much anything goes as long as you keep it appropriate. You could write a letter to them about you and what SCANDAL means to you, draw something, make picture collages, etc.

Hrm...prolly have to write a letter or poem or something.

I'm not very visually artistic at all, so drawing a picture or the like wouldn't work.

Haha...I'm pretty good at baking, but don't think you could put pastries in book form....

I'd like to participate but to be honest I don't have any skill with collages or drawing or things like that Never done something like that... it would be horrible lol. S o unless I got a great idea I guess I will pass and simply look at what you guys can do

It doesn't matter, you can still write them a simple letter! It is what I am going to do, I have no particular skills too, I will just write some words to them!

Yeah, I think a well thought out letter from the heart would be every bit as nice and meaningful to them as anything else might be.

I made collages about 2 months ago, one for each of the girls, one for the Almond Crush duo, and one for the Dobondobondo duo! Would I be allowed to include them or would I have to pick one or two? Also, should we include a Japanese translation of our letter, or would someone else do that? I have some Japanese friends who don't mind doing these things for me. ^^;;

You can include both. At least for the US project, there will be no limit as to how many things you can submit. A translation isn't necessary; you may leave it in English if you'd like. I doubt there will be anyone here that will be translating letters into Japanese, but you can have someone that you know do it for you if you want.

We still need to work out the details, but it will be either to myself in the US and/or babaloued in France. Like with past projects, I think you'll either be able to send it in digitally through e-mail, or you could send it physically through the regular mail. Those actually coming to the concerts might be able to submit them then as well.

I'm discussing with some artistic type friends a project to have Chibi-Scandal style screen-printed t-shirts; that probably wouldn't fit into a scrapbook, would it?

No, that won't fit inside of it, but you can keep it separate and give it together along with the project.

yo people. it's been a while. 

As babaloued had mentioned, i will be handling the Asia side's fan letter once again, since SCA will be performing in Singapore as part of their HELLO WORLD 2015 World Tour. 

Very simple. If you are coming to watch the concert, you can choose to bring your fan letter on the actual day of the concert (Date & Venue TBC). If you are not coming, you can PM me here. I'm fine if you want to pass your letters to thoseguiltyeyes and babaloued also, but the aim is simple. we want a lot of fan letters, not just from Asia, but each and every part of the world!

I will be going to every performance they will play in the USA, but, since it's highly likely that they will be going to my hometown of Los Angeles, I will be giving the project to the band there.

You have 3 options to submit your letters. You can either:

1. Mail it to me (PM me for my address)
2. E-mail to me (e-mail it to shflproject.usa@gmail.com; I will print your letter out)
3. Give it to me in person at the concert (please let me know if you wish to do this)

Like babaloued, the letters will be inserted into 8.5 x 11 inch plastic sleeves.

The date to send me your letters by is TBD when the dates and locations of the US performances are finally announced.
