Hi guys. Just thought I'd share with everyone this group which is one of my favourite groups in Japan after SCANDAL. They're not a rock band, they're not an idol group, but I still hope everyone who reads this will at least listen to them a bit. I'm hoping everyone here listens to different types of music and not just rock or metal of whatever .please.

Sonar Pocket is a 3 man group from Nagoya consisting of (from left) matty (DJ), eyeron (vocal) and ko-dai (vocals). Their real names are unknown i think. Admittedly at first sight I don't think they look much, I don't think they're the kind of group that attracts people by first impressions.
However their songs sounds really great IMO, which is the main reason why I like them. All their lyrics and music is composed almost entirely by the group itself, and their lyrics carry a lot of meaning IMO.
All their PVs also seem to carry a sort of story in itself, mainly based on love and friendships, which I really like a lot. This sets Sonar Pocket apart from other groups like SCANDAL whose PVs focuses a lot on the performances of the members themselves.
Some samples of their songs
They have managed to attract a fair bit of attention within Japan, and they even managed to hold their first Budokan concert this summer. The DVD is being released next month along with their new single.
However I think they are still very much unknown outside of Japan. PVs are troublesome to come by (at least one of them seems to be completely missing online), and videos of live performances and interviews are also few. Hope I could help them get a bit of recognition at least within this forum and gain a few more fans in the process
