The Donation System is now enabled in this forum.

So what is the donation system? It's the feature that allows members to donate money in this forum for it to avail advanced features.

The Donation page can be found here

All donations are automatically converted to credits.

Credits is the currency used inside Forumotion to buy advanced forum features.

As you can see in the Donations page.. there will be 3 Credits status...

High ~ There are enough credits for SH to be used in the future.
Medium ~ SH needs and is accepting donations.
Low ~ There are few credits left and SH needs your support.

That status will be updated depending on the Credits status of SH.

Once converted to Credits, it cannot be reverted back to money or be transfered to other forums.

All Donors will receive a special donor badge that will be place in their profile.



NOTE: If you want to be anonymous and don't want a Donor badge to be placed on you, kindly pm me so that I will know.

Donors will appear in the admin Credits History, therefore I will know instantly once you have donated.

Donor status will last until SH reaches Low status. Once SH reaches Low, all donor badges will be removed. It usually takes months before it reaches Low.

$1 = 84 Credits

Since we already have another free 1 year domain offered, donations will be focused on Ads removal. There is also one more service but it is of no use to SH as of now, I'll just update if ever we need them in the future.

Copyrights

It allows us to remove Forumotion copyrights that are located in the forum footer. If you don't know what the footer is, it's the one located at the bottom most part of the forum.

It allows us to remove the Forumotion links and ads in the footer, and we could also add our own in it!

Yes, we are still trying to remove them.

You can choose below, the additional time during which ads will be disabled for your members and guests.

The upper one is the only one activated, that's why guests have ads. So I guess since we're on to removing all ads on the forum, the guest ads should now be removed as well. Say there will be a random chance SCANDAL will visit here, it would be more nice if they don't see any crappy ad.

But it will still depend on the credits I received, if we won't have enough then I won't deactivate the one for guest.

Just tried to donate, got a weird Alert from Paypal saying it may or may not have worked. I checked my Paypal account and Agreed to some new notices about sending money, and tried again. Got the same window.

So it is possible I may have just donated twice - hopefully not, but possible. If it didn't get through, let me know and I will try again. Thanks.

Weird, Paypal worked just fine for me like any other purchases I've used with Paypal.

Ah, I got it to work this time. Probably was just something wrong with Paypal's US servers?

Guilty... I never knew this feature existed...

I have the same question as Sam actually, what's the credit limit for each status? I don't think it'll break my bank if it's just another $5 or something to bring everything into the green... "That and Sam is loaded with a bajillion dollars, so he'll cover the Mil if the forum needs the extra bang! HA HA!"

Cool, my donation is in! Hope that helps, but can the Donor Banner be linked to this thread also? I never knew it was associated with money donations until I stumbled on the link, so others may be wondering the same?

Well it also depends on what premium feature is nearing expiry, I'll give it...

2999 below = Low
3000 - 5999 = Normal
6000 above = High

That sounds good to me as well, but sadly there's no way to do that with Forumotion's limitations. D:

Have you receive the donation? I did it via allopass. With my country low currency value it takes quite effort to reach the wanted amount, could you PM me the amount that you received so I know how much each code weight.
