Oasis is just my favorite band ever ( Sorry for scandal but Oasis is just .wow. ). Noel Gallagher is a *oooops bad word detected**** good composer (The Masterplan LOVE , Don't look back in anger, Morning Glory, The Importance of the Being Idle and more ... ), Liam a good singer ( Not all of the time unfortunately >_<) ... I'm very sad since Rock en Seine ( I was here .waaa. ), because Beady Eye (New band of liam) without Noel is not Oasis, and Noel without Liam ... there is something missing I think ...

Whatever, Oasis stay in my heart forever, " We gonna Live forever " =D

Oasis is one of the bands grew up listening to. I'm not that much of a fan but I like their songs. Wonderwall, Morning Glory, Don't Look Back in Anger, Stop crying your heart out, D'You Know What I Mean?, and Stand by Me are some of the their songs that I really like.

i love Oasis!

its just sad that they have been disbanded last year... Onion Cry well i think they really have not disbanded its just Noel who quits the band so Liam and the others decided to end Oasis and form a new band called Beady Eye.

haha same as rollingproject its just my cousins who influenced me to listen to Oasis. i used to have a vacation at their place every summer back then and theyre always playing Oasis songs.

I hope there will be an Oasis reunion concert in the future, i wanna see them play together officially even for the last time.

My favourite song is Falling Down, the Opening for Higashi no Eden.

Two years ago, when I was a complete British/American Music Junkie, I liked Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova

lol I'm just going to bump this... @.@

I've gotten into them recently, I think everyone who grew up in the early 90s has at least heard of 'Wonderwall'. Then I watched Eden of the East and heard 'Falling Down'. But it wasn't until I watched Daria!!! that I heard 'Go Let it Out' -- and it was so awesome, I started listening to their albums properly lol. My favourite song is probably 'Slide Away'. :3

I have been lucky enough to see them 'live' several times, it is just sad the two brothers always seem to want to kill each other !
Where is all the love and friendship that Japanese bands seem to have ?

But in the UK many people considered them a 'Beatles' tribute band, compare their songs and you will see why.

@darksteel -- I was talking to this fourteen year old Canadian girl last year (a family friend) and she had no clue what the song 'Wonderwall' sounded like, let alone who Oasis were. TT.TT I'm not that much older than her (okay, it's a bit) but like ... it made me feel so old... somehow.

You are not old !
If you listen to Japanese music you are not going to be frightened of listening to British music.
Since I discovered J-Pop I have also listened to Korean music and Chinese music.

I love Oasis. There was actually a time period where all I would listen to was Oasis!
I adore all their albums but the one I might have listened to the most would be (What's the Story?) Morning Glory.

Between the two brothers, I've always preferred Noel. I just think he's better. Overall. Even his band/solo project, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, is better than Beady Eye.

Thread revival. I grew up listening to Oasis back in 94. I miss the old line up with Bonehead and Guigsy. I mean Andy and Gem are amazing, but it doesn't have that old charm that I remember. I still have a concert ticket somewhere from 97 when the Gallagher brothers got into a fight and the show was cancelled
