Hi everyone. I'm Fujiko's older sister. I've come with bad news and good news. I'm not sure where this topic is really supposed to be, but I think I should alert the staff first.

As most of you know, New Year's in America is celebrated with drinking and partying. Fujiko went out to celebrate the New Year with her friends, but on the way there, a drunk driver speeding 60 mph slammed into her car. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but after three days of fighting...she didn't make it.

This is really, really hard on us, and I really thought I wasn't going to tell the community, but I saw how much she loved this band and community after reading her posts.

On a private blog post, she wrote a short section about this community:

"Hmm...If anything happens to me, someone should tell the people at SCANDAL HEAVEN because I'd feel REALLY bad if they thought, 'Fujiko ditched us!!' They should tell them that...I reallyy loved the people there and it was really fun talking about SCANDAL! I learned a lot while translating! ! But then again, I'm pretty sure nothing is going to happen to me any time soon, so no worries."

Thank you for telling us. We did have a lot of fun with her and talking about SCANDAL and we were always eager and waiting for her translations.

All of us here were really glad she became a part of this and became a translator for us.

Fujiko was our only translator here at SH,and she knew that,so she'd always try to find time to help us translate blog posts and she'd always apologise profusely if she doesn't have the time.She will be sorely missed,not in terms in translators,but in terms of the many friends she has made here.

Fujiko-san,you will be remembered.I did not know the impact this forum had on you,looks like it gave you lots of fun,huh.Fujiko-san...君が、僕たちは忘れない。I'm sure you can see that,huh....

She did a lot in the community, I and everyone here has always appreciated it. Why did something like this has to happen...

i was speechless when eugene first told me and a few other sh members about this...
although i'm not really that active here but i can see that she has put in a lot of effort in translating the posts here...

OMG... i can't and don't want to believe this at first...
nah i know it's hard to accept the fact that she's gone, but i'm sure she has done her bestest for everything she does not only in this forum.

I haven't been here that long, but I really am shocked, hearing this...I always enjoyed her posts and blog translations....She was always a happy person, always there to help when we needed it.....she was a great person, and she won't be forgotten.

i don't reli had the chance to know Fujiko.. However, hearing this news im kind of shock. Reli felt a pain in the chest. I like to give my condolences to the family. Thank you for informing us. May Fijuko rest in peace.

what is the meaning of life? perhaps the answer if only clear when we think about our own death.

i do not know fujiko. i admit that.

but to consider that she was thinking about this forum and about the members here before she died i feel this forum was pretty important to her; an important part of her life. were we an important part of her life? something that gave her life some purpose? it just chokes me up to think that i was part of something that was so important to another person's life.

i don't know if it would be too morbid for other members here but i just feel that we should some sort of memorial for her posted in this forum. at least a picture of her and maybe a short profile of her life. i don't even know her and now she's gone.

No... I really do not know what to say, this is really heart-wrenching for me right now.
Fujiko-chan was a great person and I know how much she loved SCANDAL and this forum, even though we never really talked much she was always so pleasant to be around and I enjoyed getting to know her no matter how short the time....
