So I woke up this morning and checked the onemanga site for today's new releases and I found that they were shutting down. Gaah. It's just too bad to see that online manga may one day, be lost :| Tho I know, it is and really is illegal. but still, .sigh. It's just soo saaadu >.<

International PerformerIt's only illegal if they are licensed. OneManga has many non-licensed ones, but are still taking them down. MangaToshokan, also reportedly had to take down over 1000s of mangas due to companies telling them to cease existing.
Don't get me wrong, just because One Manga is going down, doesn't mean scanlations will end. They will never end. Just find the series you like most, and find the scanlators' websites, and head straight there.

Shiroten PerformerOh yeah, this is not good, found this in the mornin too
I don't even read manga online often but when I do its always at Onemanga, it was always nice knowing there was a site that had nearly any manga I wanted
Was following D.Greay-man in particular there and those Code Geass side stories and was planning on catching up on Claymore, guess I can still for now
But yeash, fret not its just as Platonium says, Scanlations will not end with this and if yu really want to keep reading just find the scanlators and get it from their site, just like downloading subbed Anime really ^_^

International PerformerPluto is right..
Although japanese and american publishing companies are doing their best to get rid of scanlation sites, it will not end..
Just like CORNOGRAPHY .whistle.
its also illegal, but there are still lots of CORN sites that exists.. .ehem.
another problem of scanlation sites is that they have no age limit.. minors can freely read ugh, how should i put it.. half/full Hentai mangas? .sweat.

Caless StudentHehe even if you say that those CORN sites all you have to do is hit a button that says "IM 18"~ not a real effective barrier against minors anyway.-RhenZkiE- wrote:

But yeah it sucks that they are cracking down. They make it so hard for Americans to get their hands on real products then they t*try* to shut down the online ones. Sigh

International PerformerMangastream is only Weekly Shounen Jump. If you want any other manga, that site is useless.
