International Performeri think search bar only shows topic title.. .uhuh. i tried typing words and it worked.
if you tried searching for replies "in" a topic using the search bar.. i guess it wont appear.. .uhuh.

Caless StudentOh you're right. It only searches the title, not the post content.
Is this intentional? It would be useful if I could search in posts as well.

International Performernaah.. using searchbars which shows posts "in" a topic would be a pain..
it will show tons of results for every word you typed.. .wew.

International PerformerThat's how the "Search" function was intended, or is used in mostly every forum.
Since this forum is still quite small, you can easily find the posts you are looking for with a few minutes of page backing.
I'm not sure if this is a forumotion thing, or if the options were set to this, but we'll have to live with it.

Caless StudentOkay thanks. I think it should be there in phpbb, but was probably disabled.
I just thought it would be useful for threads like "Shiritori" in the fun section so you can search whether a word has already been said.
Anyways, no big deal.

It doesn't work for me for some things since the updated layout.
For example, in the music section i will type "YUI" or "LM.C" and it won't find anything despite there being threads called YUI and LM.C
It will find SNSD or The Pillows, not sure why it finds certain threads and not others

International PerformerI think it's because the search function currently doesn't show up searches that have 3 or less characters. Unless the method used to search has been changed recently.
