the 2 bands produce very different music

you should listen to their 2nd album Miminari, very raw, very emotional, their best so far if I may say so

I love them, her voice is so beautiful!! It's a very good band !! Shangri-la is my favorite music ^^

I only heard "DAIDAI" (an ending song for Bleach), but for some reason they didn't caught my ears.. .sweat.

Please don't compare them to our rocker ladies.. They're on a different genre..

I just started listening to them last 2009 and up until now.
Though, it is saddening that KUMIKO TAKAHASHI (Drummer) is leaving the band this september 2011 because she has another career, which is poetry, I think. she almost left the band because of health reasons but didn't continue on it. I hope that, when Eriko and Akiko continue as a duo, they'll remember kumiko-chan along the way.

i've known them since 2007 and also an active member of their unofficial chatmonchy forum (shangri-la.2ya.com) from there I discovered SCANDAL way back in 2009...

it saddens me that Kumiko will leave the band, but I think Ecchan and Akko will still continue as a duo..

Well, not to be a drag but Chatmonchy will release 2 new singles by February and each costs 550 yen only.
It's been 3 years since their last single, Last Love Letter, and now ChatMonchy is back with 2 new singles and one album containing 17 tracks, all of which when Kumiko was still in the band.

Just sharing.

•Mangetsu ni Hoero (though it was already released last February 1, 2012).

this band is soo good, many of their songs have that grungy and blues feel to it, combined with Eriko's voice, they make music that is very unique and fresh. Anyone should listen to Chatmonchy!
