What do Nakagawa Shoko, SCANDAL and Stereopony all have in common? They'll all be coming together on a tribute album to girl band ZONE, who are reuniting for a month to look back on the 10 years since their debut.

The album "[August, 10 Years Later...] Zone Comeback SHOW!! ~ A Reunion With Everyone!~" will contain cover versions of many ZONE hits.

Other artists such as ClariS, sphere, Tomato n' Pine, bump.y, Peaceful and Yanagi Nagi will feature on the album, covering songs such as "Yume no Kakera..." and "Hitoshizuku".

"We're really happy that 10 wonderful female artists are covering our songs after 10 years" said an announcement from ZONE themselves. The group also revealed that they're back in the recording studio for the first time in 6 years, shaping the answer song to "secret base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono" ("secret base- ~What You Gave Me~")!

Miyu, Maiko, Tomoka and Mizuko debuted back in 2001. Their third single "secret base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~" ("secret base ~What You Gave To Me~") will be recognized by SCANDAL fans and fans of the TV anime "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai." ZONE's original version has become a classic, selling over 730,000 copies to date.

i believe the release date was in august cuz that's what ZONE was planning. to be exact august 10 the same day SCANDAL releases BABY ACTION

wow that's a pretty good setlist. ooh Stereopony is in too? okay getting this when it comes out!

When ever I listen to "Secret base" by Scandal ( Which is a lot ! )
I always listen to the orginal by 'Zone' because I think they were very,
very good !

Anyways, it seems to me the article is always referring to SCANDAL? Nice! .uhuh.

I just hope the answer song to SECRET BASE would be nice.. That would really make ZONE's comeback (temporary?) even more memorable!

That part's incorrect, since the version used in AnoHana was not done by SCANDAL, but by three seiyuu: Kayano Ai, Tomatsu Haruka, and Hayami Saori.

not sure if Scandal will rerecord Secret Base and make slight variations or the exact version in their mini album RGirls Rock will be part of the compilation album, anyway glad that Scandal gets to cover Zone's greatest hit song... Hopefully they will also cover Zone's Daibakuhatsu NO.1 and H・A・N・A・B・I ~Kimi ga Ita Natsu~
