Does anyone play badminton in the LA / OC area? There's a lot of new badminton clubs around San Gabriel/El Monte/Pomona area, so there's plenty of open courts almost all the time. A day pass costs about $7-10.

Indie ArtistKind of late I guess but eh xD
I'm currently a Junior in high school right now and I've played badminton several years now. I can't drive yet though [my mom refused to let me learn last summer >.> so I'm learning this summer since I'm done with my SATs].
$7-10 for a day pass is kind of expensive too lol since I don't have a job yet and my family isn't the richest either so I usually just play badminton in my school's gym at lunch now that the season is over. :3

Caless Student@wat for a change, you can try playing badminton with a guitar perhaps?
@ryder blade did u play for ur school's varsity team?
it's actually $5 if you're still in school .. used to be able to sneak in for free late at nite, but now all the gyms seem to be quite strict
@zimbobbio do u ever go to any of the badminton gyms around LA?

Indie ArtistI played for Varsity for the first couple games but we had a lot of new players this season coming from Vietnam or other schools in our district. The people from the other schools had their badminton team cut so they went to my school ._. so I ended up playing as JV Singles 1. I'm not really competitive either haha. xD

Indie ArtistI think it's only some. I know that my school will have badminton next season.
Haha. I play singles only because when I first joined during my freshman year, none of my friends wanted to join with me since they don't like sports ;_; so I joined the team knowing no one so I didn't have much of a choice. xD I tried playing doubles with some people last year and this year but I guess I'm too used to singles since I would hog the birdie .whistle.
