yo~ how are you guys doing? its been a while since I last posted on the this forum, since then I've had lots of musical inspiration from different japanese artists but recently I've been opened to a new genre of music... KPOP!!! .uhuh. at first I was very hesitant but with mc~'s help I overcame my fear... haha

anyway, this thread is for that artist who made me realize that kpop is actually good in its own way, as the title says, IU <3 my new found love. haha .love.

Lee Ji Eun or IU(which means I and You, symbolizes that we can become as one through music) is a famous korean solo artist/host and actress. She debuted in 2008 and from then on she made big success due to her angelic voice combined with her cuteness and beauty. Some of her famous songs are Good Day, Marshamallow, Nagging, Raindrop, Boo, and You and I.

Right now, her latest single is Spring of a Twenty Year Old which was released last May 11 and is composed of 3 songs namely, Peach, Don't Like Her and Every End of the Day(which had a 27min music video). She has also debuted in Japan last March with her award winning single Good Day and plans to release a japanese version of You and I the following months.

I like IU, she is a very good singer...even though I've only heard her song "Good Day" both Korean and Japanese versions. Man, the 3 high notes are pretty intense huh.

Don't forget about Peach <3 I just keep on falling in love with her whenever I listen to that song, and Mia is just spectacular! Probably her best ballad as of today.

Definitely her most emotionally engaging song, especially when watching the MV as well. It gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.

Anyway, I did listen to the epilogue modern times album and the two added song are just beautiful, I love so much this album with its jazzy and latino atmosphere! I didn't like too much the Last Fantasy album but this one is just sublime!^o^
I discover her with the catchy song Marshmallow and until now I am still in love with her voice and songs ^_^

She is preparing a remake album that will be released the 16th may, untitled Flower bookmark, here are the first promotion pictures, enjoy
