Conflicts and struggles came and went during the five years since then. When Yuya was in the ninth grade, he clashed over his future plans with his mother, who had brought him up all by herself. It was around that time when he visited New York City, the city of his dreams, and realized anew the path he wished to pursue. As a result, he further refined his expressive power instead of going to high school - and finally seized the chance of debut. Maintaining the teamwork with Caless and Jin Nakamura, Yuya is currently in the studio with Nakamura recording his favorite, R & B / hip-hop based tracks. Debut single "foolish foolish" was the first track Nakamura presented to Yuya in New York City, the place he renewed his determination to pursue music .
And now, Yuya Matsushita is about to step onto center stage with such a memorable song. He has also set his goal as an artist. "I want to be something you have never seen before - definitely not an epigone of somebody. I can ' t help being compared to someone else, but after all, I live and let live. I want to be said, 'that's very him.' "
