It's not a world tour, so they'll likely only go to one other continent/area (i.e. Asia).

SE Asia would be nice. They never made up for the cancelled 2020 dates in that region. More importantly, it means I might actually have a shot at seeing them live without flying halfway around the world. So, yeah, did you hear that, Scandal?! Bangkok, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore... let's do it. I'll see you at the baggage carousel.

Hopefully they can come to Malaysia....i feel so excited for their new album and tour!

Since trying to get tickets to concerts in Japan is now very complicated if you don't live there, there are 2 main options:

1. Ask a friend who lives in Japan to get them for you

2. Buy them via Japan ticket-selling sites


However, option 2 is not exactly recommended since they could always do random ID checks at the door. If they do, and the name on the ticket (AKA the original purchaser) does not match yours, you will be denied entry.


Edit: What jamie87 wrote below about getting a Japan SIM card is also an option, but it won't work for any presale lotteries since you'll need to confirm your ticketing account via a text message sent to your Japanese phone number (but the phone service doesn't work when outside of Japan). It will work for the general sale, though some of the smaller venues will likely sell out immediately.

Experience from the Unlimited Utopia tour as a foreigner visiting Japan:

I ended up getting a Japanese sim with voice, text, data (this is what I used https://www.mobal.com/japan-sim-card/?t=st&source=2503) so I could actually buy the ticket on my own through E-Plus (had to download their Japanese app, so either region switch your phone or take a burner switched to Japan), activate the account with the Japanese phone number (won't work on any other country's number and I tried going through all the different ticket services before I left for Japan. Lawson Tickets was the nicest and actually explained why I couldn't do anything overseas over email), and then had to go to the conbini to pay for it, since I didn't have a Japanese credit card to pay in app. Note, they give you a couple days to pay for the ticket, so that's good. All the UU tour tickets were locked to specific Lawson, E-Plus, and one other site accounts (don't remember), so I'm not sure how easy it will be to get the ticket from someone else. I imagine buying tickets will still be the same way for the Luminous tour.

It was more expensive for me to do it this way (burner and cell service), but it was really the only way I could do it, especially not knowing anyone in Japan. It was the first thing I did after leaving the airport in Japan and worth every penny. Zepp Osaka Bayside is Even in the back, the sound was amazing.

Other thing to note is that the tickets are numbered (at least they were for UU) and they will only let you in once your number is called. I think they did 100 at a time. So check when you get the ticket to see how entry is being done. If it's by number, then you don't need to show up insanely early to wait in line (like I did), because you won't be let in until your number is called anyway. They'll also have designated areas around the venue (outside) for you to wait in your number section. I was 1879, so I was across the street and down a ways. Also, brush up on your numbers in Japanese, just in case lol
