TOMOMI has been appointed as a tourism ambassador for her hometown of Kakogawa!
TOMOMI from SCANDAL becomes Kakogawa tourism ambassador
On September 25, Kakogawa City announced that TOMOMI, a native of the city and bassist of the four-piece rock band SCANDAL, will be inaugurated as a tourism ambassador for Kakogawa. An appointment ceremony will be held in the city at a later date.
TOMOMI is from Kakogawa-cho. SCANDAL formed in 2006 in Osaka, and made their major debut in 2008. They hold tour concerts both in Japan and overseas every year, and in August 2023 they were recognized by the Guinness World Records as the longest-active female rock band with the same musicians.
With TOMOMI's appointment, there are a total of 24 individuals and one group as tourism ambassadors for Kakogawa.
