There's another video of Rainy in the offing - it's a collab and currently in post-production. A friend who pwned my guitar playing big time is doing it, and I played the bass.

Nice work with metronome. I was thinking of tyring to find some time to learn it myself but just not enough hours in a day - especially with the Stanley cup playoff hockey taking up all the spare time I have. 

Actually, there are a few that I haven't gotten around to learning lol.

I also see a few people posting Awanai on youtube which is funny as mine got blocked by Sony when I tried to post it up a while back. Maybe they've relaxed their stance lately.

Sometimes (in fact, a lot of times), YouTube detects the songs and mutes it or in extreme cases, bans an account if the account holder is deemed to upload more than a few copyrighted media items. I did a Rainy collab recently and surprisingly no issues.

One of the S-H members here (can't remember who it was) raises the pitch of the song by 2% so as to make the video 'undetectable' by YouTube. I use DailyMotion as anything is 'kosher' in that site!

As we can't double post, this update is of my, err, drum cover vid for Departure.

I was testing my old MacBook connected to my V-drums via an M-Audio interface - it worked like a charm! No more recording of the drum sounds using the camera mic.

Anyway, I was winging this cover after a few tries, and I am NO drummer. Kiite kudasai then. ^^

To (try) answer your question - if it's the solo video, it's my own custom-made ESP LTD guitar painted like MAMI's current Fender American Std HSS Strat. The collab video shows my friend playing a Squier Strat.

Here's my lead part guitar cover made with my Skullsilver and the amPlug, Azusa Nakano, by VOX. I wanted to play rhythm part as it might suit better with this guitar but I only had lead tab from  Go!Go!Guitar

^^Ah, the cover of Rainy with the SKULLSILVER is really awesome! The tabs are from from GiGs? 

But I noticed in that last part of the video that you mentioned someone passed away? I knew Sourchicken/Brett from a few covers (that guy was really good at bass, but he gave it up sadly), and I know it's pretty off topic, but that's really sad to hear. All my condolences goes to his family and friends.

EDIT: I checked on Bassection's (Sourchicken/Brett) website, wow this is really really sad.

You are kinda right, ichiruki. ^^ The full score for Rainy was in the June ish of GiGS. baba has the July ish of GGG and they do sometimes put up abbreviated tabs/chords of songs.

baba - get a back ish of GiGS with the full score if you wanna play Haru's rhythm part. You're in Japan, anyway! ^^

Oh wow, I thought it was just my bad lol. I just noticed that GiGs/GGG really has a thing for featuring SCANDAL one way or another nearly every month lol, not that I'm complaining or anything, haha. Do you mind putting up the tabs somewhere? (or is it considered as 'official release' since it's technically the 'official' score?) 

Haven't really been active in this thread, but both your covers of different songs are really awesome!
