You might need an effects unit, either a multi-effects board or stompboxes.

Most likely just distortion; a lot of amps have it built in.

Good choice of effects and techniques,
at 3:05 You could do something like this:

when hitting string with Your right hand,
You keep Your finger from a left hand on specific fret,
but move it right and left (about 1 mm each side )

it may look a bit like Your hand was shaking,
but it produces more deep sound for chorus and echo.

Or You could do hybrid picking - strike bass strings
with a pick, while violin strings You pluck using fingers.

Just experiment.

But usually when I vibrato I just kinda bend it up and down.

The technique I was reffering to is actually the staccato
(there are 2 forms, one with instant string muting, the other one striking the string while
it is vibrating), which is really similar to vibratto.

Your pick handling slightly differs from common, but probably thanks to it
You can play faster and more precisely (watched Your Youtube videos,,
other covers also - Guitar Bridge Solo Cover HD with TAB )

Guys, don't even think of changing any vocals - that's punk band .shout.

If You do it for fun, that's ok -- I remember my school times, when we recorded
at home using plain old 1 dynamic microphone connected to radio,
2 acoustic guitars and one veeery cheap electric, which was plugged to simple radio
instead of amplifier -- and name Noisemakers suited us definitely,

eh, one word on my mind -- > Sentimental :p

It just takes practice .
Anyway it is good that You have healthy distance to what You do.

^All I can say is scrape your pick along the strings. Try and experiment :D
