Nope - why would they be sold out? Keep in mind that this is a tour that's only open to fan club members, which there honestly aren't very much of in the first place, and surely a lot also don't want to travel and/or go to a concert because of the pandemic and all.

A nationwide tour open to select people rather than something like a one-off concert in one place and that anyone can attend = a whole lot less likely to sell out any of the dates. IIRC, none of the dates of their previous fan club tours in 2014 and 2016 had sold out either.

I figured they would sell out because they're selling half the tickets for the venues they normally would offer due to the pandemic, and that selling out a venue is the most cost effective. I failed to take into account the need to accommodate every Scandal Mania fan who wants to attend, sorry.

If this was a normal tour open to everyone, Osaka and Tokyo likely would have sold out. Maybe Sapporo too.

Again, the fact that only select people can attend (AKA fan club members) plus the ongoing pandemic, above all, makes these shows extremely difficult to sell out despite the venue capacities being reduced.

Not to worry; I'm quite certain the venues offered them (and anyone else who wants to rent) a big discount. 

No artiste in their right mind would rent at 100% of usual cost only to generate 50% of usual revenue cos it's likely to be loss-making, so the venues are probably sharing the risk.

Most live concerts the artists do not turn around profit from ticket sells, (I had some discussion with some Japan insiders and producers), this time luckily Scandal were able to sell goods/cd/membership at the live which is where most of the profit is made. But to purchase goods you had to have a valid Mania ticket and was ID checked to make a purchase.

It was not sold out and there were tickets available for sale at the door. Also there were quiet a few seats empty as people are still worried about the epidemic, even the guest area were only filled only about a dozen people only.

With fan club tours, SCANDAL doesn't post any of the setlists until the final performance of the tour is done so that fans coming to the concerts won't be spoiled. They'll surely do that this time too after the last performance on the 28th.

The setlist for each performance was put together based on the rankings for the 15th anniversary popular song poll currently being held.

We would play the top 10 songs as of midnight on the day of a performance and present them in a countdown format, and between those songs we would interweave songs requested by prominent figures with connections to SCANDAL, or songs that we'd want to perform in front of MANIA members. Everything completely changed on a daily basis.

Please pay attention to and enjoy how the rankings changed as the tour progressed.

It was unexpected, they filmed and upload MANIA video at official channel. Probably the chances are small, but would be great if they released this full performance in Bluray, and the anniversary concert too!

This is really a wonderful video. I never expected to be able to watch part of a Mania Tour.
