SCANDAL LIVE Blu-ray&DVD『SCANDAL WORLD TOUR 2020 “Kiss from the darkness” Livestream』 MSyfeoP

On November 18, the "Kiss from the darkness" livestream will be released on Blu-ray and DVD!

The Limited Editions will also include a CD with audio tracks of the songs played during the livestream, as well as a 56-page booklet featuring pictures taken during the show by their photographer Takeshi Yao!

It will come in a total of four editions:

『SCANDAL WORLD TOUR 2020 “Kiss from the darkness” Livestream』, the one-night-only phantom concert streamed around the world on SCANDAL's 14th anniversary, will be released on Blu-ray & DVD on November 18th!

The Limited Editions will come in a special package that includes a CD with all 21 songs on the setlist, as well as a special photo booklet (56 pages / full color) of photographs from the concert taken by photographer Takeshi Yao.

Starting today you can pre-order them for the LE pre-order campaign where you can receive a bonus original mask holder (20cm x 11cm / 8 in x 4 in; can hold face masks), as well as pre-order them to receive original stickers or a visual sheet limited to different retailers!

As I understand that the items has not been added to Amazon yet? Still can't find it in listing. A visual sheet is just a little poster, is it made from paper?

It's possible they might add another listing that includes both the holder and the sheet later, as well as making it available to be shipped overseas.

Thank you. I thinking order blu-ray with mask case and a sticker on CDJAPAN. And maybe DVD from Amazon, but if it's just a small paper poster, then need more to think about it, because it will be very expensive for this bonus .rich. ...

Visual sheet should be just a thicker piece of paper it will be sent with piece of cardboard, as Amazon for other artists/CD releases they do the same thing for these over size covers.

So unless you ship it to Tenso and then to you, which is kind of a hassle and can be pretty pricey, Amazon Japan isn't a good choice for overseas fans to go with right now.

Yayyy i'm so glad they announced it ahhh !! In fact I was kinda hoping/expecting for it. The venue, the setlist, the cameras, the event, the costumes, the lights, the visuals... Something had to show up after the livestream haha.

They really made it well as a livestream already in my opinion. I remember some video stuttering a bit but that's usual from livestreams I guess, but I also still think of that great audio. Is that the venue that made it sound so well ? I was pleasantly surprised. So the BD/DVD will be even better of course. The TV broadcasts that occured before the previous DVD/BD releases shows us that releasing this format, there's always a strong improvement from the TV broadcast. So I think this will be amazing to watch and listen to.

I just wonder how they will mix it, how the cuts will be made, what shots they will take, and of course... If there will be English subtitles (at least), but I'm pretty sure there won't be. Even though this was also a special moment for overseas fans, Scandal still mainly aims for there Japanese fans, which I can totally understand ; that's still where they come from, eh. This was quite special for us all, that's why I wonder how they'll manage to make it sound even better, using the absence of the audience as a power for a clearer audio mixing... Their releases always sounded good, so I'm excited about this one !

Anyway, I've ordered the Limited Edition Blu-Ray right as I came back home, I already see myself holding that sweet digital piece of their talent in my hands... I'm so happy about it being released, really. Also this will be my first Scandal product bought ! I guess this investment compensates a tiny bit with the fact that they probably didn't get to read my support and birthday messages lol. If it can help them running their label, their music investments and their lives to face the cancelled and postponed World Tour dates, then I'm even more happy to buy this content :3

They've never released any of SCANDAL's live DVDs in the past--they've actually never released any artists' live DVDs before--so it's very unlikely they'll release this one.

Same content but much better quality than the livestream, both video and audio-wise. They'll probably change up some of the angles as well so that every shot is as fitting as could be.

One thing that comes to mind is during "Saishuuheiki, Kimi" when HARU pointed a finger gun to the camera at the end of the song. During the livestream they showed footage of her taken from a camera that was further away, but on the DVD they'll probably sub in footage from the camera she actually pointed to.

I would just guess it will be similar to all of their other discs that were broadcast live originally, which means it'll be remixed, re-edited and probably auto-tuned... so definitely not exactly the same. All of their previous discs look and sound notably different from what was broadcast (although they're still cutting from the same camera footage so many individual shots are the same).

I'll definitely be preordering the Blu-Ray limited version. I've been waiting for another live disc for 4 years.

The most optimal option, which I think, if you want 2 versions (Blu-Ray and DVD in different stores), to reduce the cost. Order 1 version on CDJAPAN and use their proxy to order from AMAZON or another shop. Then add both version to cart and then send them all together to your country.

Agreed...! Even though it's unlikely, I hope the concert DVD keeps it and the CD can be a re-recorded version lol. If a miracle occurs maybe even give a different angle of Mami's laugh afterwards .please.

This is my first Scandal concert DVD, I'm super excited to see the new camera angles/editing and how they will remix the tracks!! Also the photobook from Takeshi Yao already sounds amazing, I love the shots he takes that they upload on their instagrams.
