  ngl, the misheard lyrics actually made sense to me so I never questioned them. Scandal lyrics are almost always about positivity so I thought it was just their way of saying "even if you mess up, things will work out right"   made so much more sense after I finally looked the lyrics up LOL

Funny, I thought of starting a similar thread a while ago because I always hear "Push me, daddy" in TOKYO SKYSCRAPER.

I read the title and thought of tokyo skyscraper before reading your post lol.
Back when I started with scandal, I missheard it as "Touch me daddy, kiss me daddy" and hated it, had to check the lyrics because it was disturbing  

Edit: I still hear Living in the living. No official lyrics can change that, sorry.

Haru sings Tomomi's beautiful song Mado wo aketara very clearly, but in the refrain "Baby, touch my heart" no matter how I try to hear it right, I always hear "baby you touch my heart."
It seems Japanese lyricists take advantage of the tendency to mishear—playing with words that sound similar in English and Japanese. (correct me if I'm wrong in these examples)
Like when they sing "Ai wana yuu" in Queens are trumps it sounds like "I want/wanna you" but the words also sound like "love," "trap," and "evening" in Japanese.
In Kill the Virgin you have a line that starts "I wonder" (English) and ends "ai ga nanda" (what is love?-Japanese)... the next line begins "nani ittenda" (which could be Japanese "what are you doing?") and ends "love me tender" (English—a famous line by Elvis Presley).. in the Rock In Japan 2013 live you can even see a male staffer smiling when Tomo sings that line)
I'm sure SCANDAL is not the only band that's played with this word "ai" ("I" English, "love" Japanese)
