SCANDAL will be perfoming at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2020 in August. Their performance date and time are TBA.

Dates: 8/8 (Sat) ・ 9 (Sun) ・ 10 (Mon)
Venue: Hitachi Seaside Park (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture)

SCANDAL @ ROCK IN JAPAN 2020 on the J-FES. App TBxr9Jx

ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2020, which was canceled, is now going to be a livestream event called 「ROCK IN JAPAN on the J-FES. App」. It says:

This is a special project to deliver past live footage centered around RIJF, messages from the artists, and the setlists that the artists were to play, with the cooperation of the artists who were scheduled to appear.

They will be showing SCANDAL's performance of "Fuzzy" from last year's festival. This will happen on August 10, day three of the festival. The stream will be archived for playback for 48 hours afterwards.

It looks like viewing will be free; you just need to download the J-FES app which is downloadable outside of Japan. However, it seems that you might need to use a Japan VPN to watch any videos.

Also, if possible, can anyone please grab SCANDAL's intro video on the app? You can download the app without needing a Japan VPN, but you do need to use one in order to view the video. I'm on Android and it has the DRM video protection thing over it so if you try to screen record it, it just comes up as a black screen. I've tried a few things to record it myself but it's just not working for me. Maybe it could work on iOS instead?

The video will only be up until midnight JST today (that's in another 7 1/2 hours as of the time I'm posting this comment). If someone could grab it before then, that'd be awesome!

That's so disappointing to know they were finally going to play "Taiyou to Kimi ga Egaku STORY" again, and we're going to miss hearing it. Hopefully this is one of the tunes they will be playing on the 21st.
