This hardly qualifies as a "creation", but I made a Scandal playlist on YouTube. Please search for "Scandal for Office Ladies". It's just a 15 song set of some of the quieter Scandal songs, kinda like "easy listening" or "adult contemporary".
I've read that YouTube pays royalties to both the publisher and performer of songs, the composers as well, I think. So Scandal gets a tiny amount of money when a video is played. And if someone says they don't care for the band, I'm pretty sure it's because they just haven't heard the right song. So this is an attempt to sort of repackage various songs to appeal to those people, and hopefully get more plays.
I'm thinking of another playlist called "Putting the Ska in Scandal" which will open with "Standard", and include "Love". You get the idea. Another one would be "Scandal music to wave a lighter/glowstick to", and would open with "Sayonara My Friend".
There could be lots of songlists. "Scandal Power Ballads", "Scandal Plays Punk", stuff like that.
Your comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh, and YouTube can figure out who owns a song, so even if you find something on a YouTube site other than Scandal's, they'll still get the money. I can't see a downside.
