SCANDAL MANIA presents "Mystery Tours of SCANDAL" 3TgW4dg

For SCANDAL's anniversary this year, they will be holding a MANIA members-only "mystery tour"!

「SCANDAL MANIA presents "Mystery Tours of SCANDAL"」 will be held on 2018.8.21 (Tue.)!

You may can check out the details of how to apply from the following URL...but we won't be giving any real details until the day of!

Look forward to this mystery tour where you don't know what'll happen!

※Please note that there is a possibility there will not be a live performance at this event.

A few details they've given so far:

・Price: 29,800 yen
・Minimum number of participants: 250
・The event location is a mystery; the only detail listed so far is that you will need to meet at Tokyo Station and will be taken by bus to the event location
・Includes lunch
・Application period: June 13-27 (8 pm)
・Must join MANIA by 5/31 in order to apply

Sounds like they would like to spend a day with Mania members at an Amusement Park! We'll see.

A tour that takes place in one day?
Maybe its like a scavenger hunt tour, where there going to different areas and look for stuff. Idk but it sounds fun lol very feild trip like.

SCANDAL confirmed the other day (link) that they will not be playing any live shows in Japan until November, so this basically confirms that they will not be playing a live performance at this event. Wonder what the content really will be about then...

SCANDAL MANIA presents "Mystery Tours of SCANDAL"

August 21st

The event took place in Yamanashi Prefecture (about 2 hours outside of Tokyo) at Mori to Mizuumi no Rakuen (Forest and Lake Paradise). The MANIA members were bused in from Tokyo Station without knowing their destination, nor the itinerary for the day.

Once there, the fans got to do things like have a BBQ, do a treasure hunt, participate in a quiz, get to hear the band perform "Sisters" acoustically, and take souvenir group pictures with the band.

There was 315 participates, 8 buses.

Event near Fujikyu Highlands at Kuniaki Shimizu forest campsite.
Smartphones had to be checked in and sealed in paper bags.

Lunch was cook yourself barbecue with yakisoba.
Members came by and took photos.

There was puzzle treasure hunting game, after which they were giving participate tickets for the talk show.
Talk show was mania quiz, they want to crown #1 mania King/Queen, the winnner was a girl.
Last event was an acoustic of Sisters without using any microphones.

On the return to Tokyo there was traffic incident on highway and were delayed by an hour or so.

HIS the travel agency mentioned it was a difficult tour to organise, other artists would probably never do it.
Also normally it would be hard to get people to go to somewhere they would know before hand.

Seeing as they only went to one place, I don't really get the "tours" part of the event.
Other than that, the result was actually cute. Its like they took the group to a late summer camp\field trip.
Bbq's, acoustic performance, treasure hunts, all really nice touches.
If Sisters was performed outside, it would have given it a cool campfire feel, but I think nature was too noisy and hot lol

How long did the whole thing last? Would've been awesome if it lasted til sunset.

Its a "tour" as it was over a 2 hour drive to the camp and over 3 hours back in to Tokyo station.

I agree it was a poor translation on their part lol. Since they only went to one location, the English translation of the title should have been "tour" instead of the plural "tours."

It ended around 6 pm, so it was a little before sunset. RINA tweeted a photo of the band waving goodbye to everyone leaving in the buses as the sun had just barely begun to set.

The acoustic live performance of SISTER was so nice, good thing Tomo tweeted the 30 second version of it I mean who knows they could do it on their future concert NEXT MONTH they'll be having their US And Mexico Tour ! Thanks
