The perfect heights! Ohh, I guess cos I'm not exactly tall myself XD

@mio_akiyama Short girls are the cutest.

When they are by themself(MV, live show) they don't look short at all, but when you see them next to somebody, especialy guys from EU you can see how short and cute they are.

They might use a smaller version of guitars.

Isn't Japan using the Imperial system instead of Metric ? I see that the scale is in meters instead of inches.

They use standard-sized instruments for adults. They may be considered short in other countries (they're of average height in Japan), but they're definitely not small children-sized lol

Japan uses the metric system. The scale is listed in centimeters (cm), btw, not meters (m). Something like 150 meters is equivalent to 15,000 cm/5,900 inches lol

Following the Meiji Restoration, Imperial Japan adopted the metric system

Pretty average height if you're from Asia. Though it's surprising for me that MAMI is the tallest among the group as TOMO looks the tallest when i watch them

Height will have some discrepancies depending on what time of the day you measure.

Because she's always sitting when they're playing, I was surprised the first time I realized Rina was taller than Tomomi and Haruna.

It is sad that they did not make this last year

They often seem to wear shoes that equalize their height.

They're definitely not really short for Japanese women, but it is still a little surprising to see their heights up close, because it's easy with any celebrity to get an idea that they're larger than life. They're also all just so well proportioned that you can't really tell how tall they are at all unless they're standing next to someone... and usually they're just standing next to each other.

Well Google says the average height for a Japanese woman is 158.8cm so only Haruna is the slightly short one


But for example Maria Imamura from HKT48 is 147cm so they are all taller than her

You can kind of see how small they are by comparing them to other artists using the same instrument. 

This sounds like a Who is Who in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
