Great band, their new single/EP/whatever is really cool.

I love Akai Ko-en!!! My favorite song from them (so far) is Katamari!!!

I'm totally hooked on these girls right now. It's interesting that Tsuno is the leader of the band (but not the vocalist) and there's a bit of like sempai-kouhai formality with Chiaki. @_@

In some of those Akai KoenxSCANDAL pics, you can tell Chiaki's not hanging out with the rest of them when they go for dinner and stuff (although to be fair, neither is Nao) ...

ANYWAY. Great band, interesting sound. They have a kind of mysteriousness about them that leaves me excited for the next release, etc - I miss that.

rekindled my interest in them after watching Kei Takebuchi and the rest of Goose House doing a cover of their latest single "Now on Air"

The new album is excellent and the cover is super cute.

I just discovered this band this month.  I love their 2 new songs, Canvas and Kiiroi Hana!

The new album is, once again, absolutely fantastic. I love their sound and versatility.

Mine should be arriving next week...

OK, I thought this deserved a separate post (and to hopefully bump the thread!)

After only seeing a couple of previous vids and sneaks of the latest album, I expected to like this album. However, what I got was an overwhelming experience. From beginning to end, with it's subtle changes in songs, and then the odd one that snapped you out of the trance you were in listening to Chiaki's sultry voice (amazingly mature, and really beautiful), this album is amazing. I've bought a ton of J-Pop lately and this one is the first one to really mesmerise me like it did. Given that the girls are still young, they have an awesome career ahead of them.

This is the first of their albums I have bought, and after the impression left by this one, I definitely have to buy the others now

Hey that's really great to read! I wholeheartedly agree about Chiaki's voice.

I strongly suggest you to at least listen to their previous album which is in the same vein as the new one, only more diverse and intense.
