I see a lot of people dislikes Minecraft, why?

Some youtubers that play games, like SmoshGames also hate Minecraft.

So what's wrong? Do you guys like / dislike?

Hmm, I think some people just don't like those kinds of games.
Where it challenges creativity rather than saving the world or defeating the bad guy.
From what I've seen, Minecraft is where you kinda build your own world and do whatever you want.
...Or maybe some people don't like how everything is blocky and graphically "simple."

I don't see what you mean by "many" people. The player base is gigantic. Youtube is overflowing with MC channels. And some people just hate it for the fact that it's so popular and the hype for it at times is over the top. I have seen people constantly asking popular gaming channels to play mc which might annoys em too. You possible can't expect everyone to like Minecraft. It's like Call Of Duty, that game has many haters too, but just as many or even more followers.

So to answer your question: Nothing is wrong.
People have different tastes.
I for example hate CoD and most FPS actually, it's not my type of game. I have MC and I am fairly neutral about it and don't think it's the almighty game some people claim it to be. But I don't dislike it.

I think it's because minecraft is very saturated, there are many videos of minecraft on youtube and people want more diversity. I know there are many videos that are not minecraft, but some people post only this. I think

I played a bit of minecraft. Survival mode wasn't really my thing (probably cause I sucked at it.) I liked the creative mode though.

I don't hate it. its fun actually if your creative and can overlook MC's biggest flaw - the graphics.

I think I've been spoiled by Korean MMO graphics so much that MC just hurts my eyes. Also, I have a personal vendetta against the game since a lot of people at my high school play the game really obnoxiously in the library while I'm trying to do classwork.

i played for quite some time. got bored. never touched it again. the graphics got me i think. 

My logic was like. "you slap in a Ultra High-End video card and only play this game! DUDE!" anyway, it's good actually.. once you got the basics down and get past the graphics. just time consuming as heck.

but girl's love Minecraft tho. they call it "cute" and like "LEGO". boggles my mind to no end.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Minecraft. To me, it's just a boring game because there is no distinctive objective aside from survive. Although like all games, if you play with friends it's hilarious and not boring. 

The graphics (I guess is now iconic to Minecraft now?) is quite dull compared to so many other 3D games. Annnnnnd Minecraft's open servers has manifested so many trolls that destroy people's work, others may view Minecraft for having a bad community (but that happens for all games, so not a really good point.)

I have played minecraft since times when creepers does not exist. I really liked it but later every 10 year old in my country started playing and share videos on youtube. you get 10 stupit questions and 5 requestes about teach how to download modes. So community died :*( 

And after a while I got bored bec I couldnt find better things to do. once I builded a house in tekkit, It was mineing, crafting and building itself.

If we have a guy with sweet internet there maybe we can play together. I would like to play with you guys :3

I used to play Minecraft and i need to say it's a very good online sandbox game. I totally don't like it's single player mode but in 2013 i even had an account on one server (prison themed) and it was very cool experience.

In my opinion many people simply don't like it's graphics or are not used to typical sandbox games. And that's all.

It would be a very boring world if everyone liked the same kind of games, my daughter loves Minecraft but I dont have the patience for those world building kind of games.
I guess my favourite game is Final Fantasy and I have played and completed if from Final Fantasy VII to Final Fantasy XIII.

Kinda offtopic but... @tonymiller: if You have time i suggest trying FF VI as well. For many people it is even better than FF VII

Sadly I have never had a pc which can handle with FF :*( I hope I can play FF in future.

Yes I would like to try the early ones but we only have from FF7 onwards in the UK.

Again offtopic, but i hope moderators won't be that strict There are two remakes (for GameBoy Advance and Android phones/tablets) so maybe one of them is available in Your country as it's in Poland
