Hello everyone. I decided to change the appearance of my guitar on model Haruna
I am refinisher by profession so I had an easier task.

So here we go

Needed materials :
Guitar Fender Blacktop Telecaster HH.

[PROJECT] Fender Telecaster Blacktop HH "Haruna Model" Gitara10

-Brocade flakes (Silver) Big. 30g
-Resin SG 150. 200-300ml
-Tape, Screwdriver.
-Sandpapier. P1200-P1500
-Sticker with the model.

dismantles guitar and grind.

[PROJECT] Fender Telecaster Blacktop HH "Haruna Model" Rozebr10

Veneering and painting

[PROJECT] Fender Telecaster Blacktop HH "Haruna Model" Malown10

Time to complete

1 Day (evening)
Dismantling and grinding, sealing

2 Day (1h)
Painting (Flakes and Clear lacker)

3 Day
Grinding and only clear lacker

A week later grinding and polishing finished

I was thinking about doing TOMOMI's bass in the future(distant future I'm afraid..) and I think it's going to be a similar process, I'm curious to know how did you apply the flakes.
Anyway it came out gorgeous, good job!

Hey buddy, you have a beautiful Fender Skullsilver! Did you sand the original finish before applying silver flakes on the guitar body?

Firstly I grind the guitar, sandpaper with small sand P1200-P1500

Second. Painted. Resin with glitter (Resin 150-200g mix with 30-45g glitter)

(Intercoat Pearl & Flake Karrier from House of Paint)

Effect as a normal metallic paint only with very large flakes

Fourth. Painted Clear Coat.

I did not have sand and dirt. Effect as a normal metallic paint.
Polishing to obtain a mirror effect. (Very smooth)

I wanted to do the same with the design of Mami's guitar, but i was afraid to ruin my guitar so i painted cardboard from a shoe box instead x)

I'm a professional sprayer/vernisher (I do not know how to say in English).This is my job, do it this good.
I will try to make video how painting with use flakes.
