Favorite movies
Theme：RINA

Though it's not Neighborhood Story, which I talked about in my previous blog, this too is a story about childhood friends as the protagonists (I'm happy that many people like Neighborhood Story! I'm really a beginner with manga, so I'll try reading ones that you recommend!) In this movie, the protagonists are divers that love the sea and dolphins. This movie where even dialogue takes a while to start will really remain in your memories. It's packed with loneliness and love.

A pair that has been separated for reasons due to a certain happening. Even so, the woman still continues to think about him. Our makeup artist recommended this movie to me, and it was a very profound one. It felt painful and mortifying. When I looked at this cover after I finished watching it, the appearance somehow changed completely.

A very fairytale-like, pop movie. A man strives every day to somehow save a girl who is weakened by the bud of a water lily in her lungs. The remedy is fantastic, and the clothes, images, and pair are extremely beautiful. An Audrey Tautou who gives off a completely different impression than from her time in the US is adorable...

I watched these quite a while ago,
But I really remember them.
I wish I had written about these before the holidays. haha

Rina seems fond of French movies but I guess they are shown with Japanese sub titles there.

I read the book "L'écume des jours" when I was in high school. I forgot that a movie based on the book was made.

Good to know that アメリ is the japanese title for "Amélie Poulain".

I used to love foreign movies when I was Rina's age ( a long time ago ! ) and I still buy Japanese movies but as you get older you realise people are pretty much the same everywhere.
They just want to meet somebody nice and make babies and for their children to be happy and healthy.
