Today, TOMOMI and Seiji Kameda-san held a special bass lecture. During yesterday's recording she had been preparing while gripping papers and a pen, so I'm glad it seems like it went well!

Well it is still really mild here in England.

Totally starting to get cold and rainy here in the Southeastern part of the USA. Tokyo isn't actually that much farther north, as far as latitude is concerned, than is Atlanta, so I'm sure the weather is fairly similar {Atlanta's latitude is 33.75N, and Tokyo is 35.6, making Tokyo about 130 miles north, which isn't that far}. I know that their cherry blossom season is almost identical to when it is here in Georgia. Not sure how much the different geography affects the relative weather, though.

Our winter over here doesn't start till the 21 of December. I also live in the southeast part of U.S, tho idk how much latitude i am compared to Japan. Japan gets more snow than we do in the south. I guess it is just location.

The South gets less snow because of the jet stream over North America. It tends to drive winter storm systems to the north and east, usually passing on the north side of cities like Atlanta and Charlotte. It's plenty cold enough here through much of late December, January and February to get snow, but the storms miss us, usually.

I just used weather dot com, and it's actually about 10 degrees F colder in Atlanta right now than it is in Tokyo, though it's apparently raining in both places right now.
