Yes, I know that they've only just started their new tour that will bring them all around the world, which means that we probably won't get any new music before quite a few months, but I was wondering how do you feel about what the next steps of their career will be?

Obviously 2016 will be a very important year for the band, marking the 10th anniversary of their formation. Will they do something very special to celebrate that?

Also, will they continue to take an even more prominent part in the songwriting and producing of their albums? Have they only really just begun to show what they're capable of? Do we still have plenty of great Scandal songs ahead? I really hope they'll stay together for a while, they have so much to offer as a band.

On the current J-Melo "Scandal questions for fans" thing, Mami asks which Japanese performers fans would like to see Scandal collaborate with. I wonder if the band is considering doing some more dual shows or joint performances like they've done in the past with bands like Stereopony.

I wish for SCANDAL to become more popular so that in their 10th anniversary they will be able to celebrate it at Tokyo Dome. 
That would be enchanting.

A concept double-album about 10-year journey as a band and individuals perhaps. More diverse or deeper than STANDARD and HELLO WORLD but not as eclectic as progressive rock in the 70s though. Also, a live performance at Tokyo Dome on their anniversary would be nice!

Exactly what i was thinking. A concept album about their Journey. Or just a theme, story, then write the songs around that. Is Tokyo Dome the biggest arena in Japan?

Nope, it's Nissan Stadium in Yokohama which can accommodate from 72,000 to 140,000 concert goers. I believe that artists become more prestigious if they perform live at venues like The Nippon Budokan (which they did in 2012) and Tokyo Dome and SCANDAL deserves a Tokyo Dome performance next year.

Back to the double-album thingy, it would be more interesting if they have some hidden tracks, spokenword, and hilarious skits as fillers.

I am hoping that they'll include Philippines in their next world tour. And I think they're starting to discover their "true" talents and what they're capable of. .clap.

1 more idea off the top of my head. A Scandal Acoustic album....I know that's a easy choice. But I've been waiting for it!!! .waaa.

I can't really see them doing a full acoustic album, but I could definitely see them doing a few acoustic songs on the next album. They already have one recent acoustic b-side ("Nai Nai Night") and they seem to like playing that way now that they're comfortable with it.

Beyond that I really have no way to even imagine what they're going to do this year or next. They used to be somewhat predictable in their release schedule but they've upended most of those in the past year. I'm just hoping we get some more new music before May or June...

I hope that SCANDAL will sing National anthem of Japan at the Opening Ceremony of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games .

I am still dreaming that they would release an Acoustic Mini-Album in which the songs were handpicked by the members themselves.

Their 10th year anniversary would be best if they will perform in a very big concert (30 to 35-setlist maybe) probably held in Tokyo Dome or in Osaka Jou Hall. And they will release another Best Album from all their written and composed songs with some new ones as well. Also, maybe a tribute album as well.

IMO, I would definitely still want them to continue writing and creating music. In that way, they will mature and learn more.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery. So we're not able to know what will really happen. However my predictions are:

- They may be disbanded (worst case scenario)

- Their new single will not be loved and they will work hard for a better one

- Their  new single will be loved and  members will write more songs.

A skim through the "Stamp!" thread and I can already see this coming true. That's okay though. No SCANDAL single is controversial enough to rain on anyone's parade forever. Like others have said, if there's any doubt it's usually gone by the time the next album or single is out.

My guesses for this year, 
After the release of Stamp! they will keep releasing two more singles until the next album, like they usually do. Or go for a different route to make a mini album, which will be neat.

For their 10th anniversary next year.
Release a album with 10 songs, all written by the members hopefully 
Perform at a big 10 th anniversary concert in Japan, Most likey Osaka Jo Hall, (Most likey this live won't be filmed since this a very special kind of concert and concert goers are only to see it, which is unfair to peeps who can't go, like me, )
Do a movie documentary about the band throughout the years, mostly release in theaters or DVDs. 
Or going on a tour to 10 different places, whether Japan or Overseas. 

Next year in general: 
More singles, and a new album,  since I doubt they will release a full new album this year.
Another world tour, since they pretty much say they wanted to do it...eventhough it's not confirmed. 

I kinda don't want them to put out a compilation album, I never got the whole idea of it, it just having pre release songs (some of them not even hits) and putting them onto one disk. Unless they are doing something extra special to CD.

But my ultimate guess is that they release there 7th album (next one) on their anniversary, August 21st, if they do I hope its has qualities of STANDARD and Hello World . Having all out power rock songs from Standard but still have organic deep band like songs from Hello World. But I will look forward to if they finally put out a studio ver. of Ashita no Ashita. 

But Scandal did say they were gonna do something big and surprising for the 10th b day next year, so we won't know for sure.  My predictions are probably wishful thinkng  .balloon.

Since they've posted mami's picture with an acoustic guitar on their official facebook and instagram pages with the title "recording", i think they can release KOE's acoustic studio version that that she performed on 360° last year in OJH too.

They also diserve a huge solo concert at Tokyo Dome on their 10th anniversay, but probably, if they do concert, it will be in Yokohama Arena or OJH again.

The surprise can be next album too. Like others said, with their best songs through these 10 years, well i hope if tgis will be true to add them some more newer songs too.

It will be nice if they put out a mini album later this year with some of their previous songs (Koe, Departure etc.) or cover of another artist (Southern All Stars) they had played in acoustic during previous live.

Oh and last summer like i remember they've played Hikare, Departure and Uchiage Hanabi acoustic versions somewhere! They can include them too!

The idea of an acoustic album is a great one. I'd love to see that album of SCANDAL in the future. *crossfingers*

So we approach the 10th anniversary of the group. How the group might evolve ?  .hmmm.
Today they release an album a year and singles spaced a few months.

There are some days I was reading something that said that Haruna wanted to marry at age 30.

So I asked this question. One day or another, girls will base their families.
Will they come out of the albums rather every 2/3 years ? Or Will they keep the same pace ?

The girls are known for mastering their instruments to perfection. Will they try solo careers in addition to the group ?

How to will evolve their texts ? Their music ? (even if I think that way, they will keep their good style)

I would like to have your opinion on this topic. How do you see the future of SCANDAL ?

Since Takkyu Ishino made a dance mix for "Everybody Say Yeah!" two years ago, I am hoping that Epic Records will release a compilation of 12 Scandal songs remixed by 12 world-renowned DJs and EDM artists on vinyl to that they will have a following on the dance club scene.
