Kalafina is a Japanese band formed by composer Yuki Kajiura in 2007, mainly to perform theme songs for the anime Kara no Kyōkai. The band debuted in January 2008 with two original members from Yuki Kajiura's FictionJunction project, Wakana Ōtaki and Keiko Kubota (not confirmed until the first Dream Port 2008 concert held on April 29, 2008). In May 2008, two vocalists Maya and Hikaru, who had been chosen from an audition of 30,000 participants held by Sony Music Japan and Yuki Kajiura, were confirmed as the final members of Kalafina. Kalafina performed in America (Boston, MA) for the first time on May 23, 2009 as guest singers for the annual Anime Boston convention.

Hey SG people don't know how many of you know this, but Kalafina's coming specially for AFA this year! They'll be performing 13 November =D

They are absolutely amazing! Their voices on stage sound so so perfect!

Their performance at AFA11 in Singapore last year was breathtaking. I didn't even know who they were before that... but after the concert, I was a fan. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
They'll be performing again at AFAMY next month and I'll be going to Malaysia just to see them again! I love them, their vocal harmonies so perfect  .wow. 
One of my favourite japanese artist, no doubt. I even bought their DVD of Live 2010 Red Moon ><

Now, i'm in love with their current song "One Light" as ED from Arslan Senki anime :D

I consider myself as a new Kalafina fan. Sultry looks and lush vocals indeed!
