Also whenever there's a financial crisis (1998 and 2010) buy the stocks of banks then cause that's when they are low (Citibank's share price was 1/5 what it is today so if I had bought it then I would have quintupled my investment O.O)

I feel you. I think one of the major problems (no pun intended, well okay maybe just a little) is that there's very little time in college to find out about yourself. It's like you go to school for 13 years or so where everything is dictated to you, and then you go onto college and you really haven't a clue how the world operates and what you're truly interested in doing for work. With college so expensive, you really don't have time to dally and really explore. It's a real shame!
