It's time to begin the HELLO WORLD banner contest!

Requirements:

- The banner's resolution must be 920x250.
- The banner must be JPG, GIF or PNG.
- The banner must not be animated.
- It must contain the CD covers of all 4 editions of HELLO WORLD. Indicate the type as well (Regular, etc.). For the edition that comes with the vinyl record, please call it either "Vinyl" or "LP."
- It must contain the name of the release and its release date (December 3, 2014). The release date must be in the format of MM/DD/YY.

- You must exactly put 「HELLO WORLD」, not Hello World, nor hello world, nor HeLLo WoRLd, etc.
- You can put the covers and title anywhere you like within the banner as long as they can be clearly seen.
- If ever you're going to put SCANDAL in it, make sure it's SCANDAL and not Scandal, nor scandal, nor sCaNDaL, etc.
- If ever you're going to put the girls' names in it, make it all caps as the girls themselves do it that way.
- If ever you're going to put the forum name in it, make sure it's SCANDAL HEAVEN, all caps.

Optional:
-You may include 「Image」 in it as well, but it must meet the same requirements as HELLO WORLD. It must be spelled as 「Image」 and must include its release date (November 19, 2014) and the cover.

Post your finished banner(s) here and wait for the staff to approve it.

There's no limit for one contestant; you can submit as many as you want.

All approved banners will continue to the voting process where all members will get to choose which banners they like the most.


Deadline for submissions is 22nd November 2014.

Also, the release date you put for Image is incorrect. It's the 19th, not the 9th. Please fix those 2 things.

oh and just a suggestion:
i think it would be more fair game for the others if contestants who have already submitted their banners and got approved, are no longer allowed to submit more or revise their banners afterwards.

its a contest afterall.

Oh wow guys awesome job like always, I already have a hard time to choose, so many great submissions, but keep them coming :cheer:

Ooohh.. I want to join this contest but the deadline is today...  .wew. I'm too busy lately.. I will try to give a few entries... Nice entries guys!

I agree with the no revision part, unless they were mistakes against the rules. If you're going to upload it in the first place make sure you are satisfied with the final result first. 
Not sure about the no further submissions part though, since everyone is allowed to submit unlimited entries it kind of doesn't make sense to disallow further entries after the first post, especially if more inspiration comes after the first submission.

doesn't this round seem to be a bit short? I remember it used to be slightly longer. I only had a grand total of 3 hours to work on this from Thurs till now.

All of your banners are ineligible because it clearly states in the rules that the year needs to be in YY format, not YYYY format.

Also, 3 & 4 cannot be entered anyway because they contain scans from magazines. I apologize for not clearly stating it in the rules, but non-official pictures cannot be used in the contests anymore. It's just better if solely the official pictures are used in the banners.

And thanks for your suggestions, but we've always allowed revisions and I see no need to change it after all this time. About no further submissions one, that's not needed because, like Metalleo said, everyone is allowed to submit unlimited entries and it doesn't make sense to disallow entries after someone's first post.

The amount of time for submissions is 5 days, the same as it was for Yoake no Ryuuseigun. However, I might extend this one for another day or so.

The last I checked the date of your first post (19th Nov) to the stated closing date (22nd Nov) is clearly not 5 days. Of course I know how long previous contests were, it's not my first time, otherwise I wouldn't have made that comment in the first place

I'm going by my time. I posted this on the 18th my time. So, counting the 18th as day 1 to the 22nd = 5 days. It's technically still the 22nd over here. But, I will allow submissions to go on for a little while longer. We typically aren't very strict with these deadlines anyway.
