Hum anyone with a good memory remembers last year(s) when they were also recording? How long after that did we get some news about the album?

I expecting a new album before the end of the year but at the same time they don't NEED to so we will see :/

I wondered if it's an ESP Snapper, as what struck me at first are the two knobs (on a Strat-shaped body) with the mix variation toggle switch in between. But I concede the Snapper doesn't have a Wilkinson bridge like the guitar in the photo.

At the rate they are getting new gear, GAS-afflicted SCANDAL fans won't be able to keep up...

@maharizm an ESP Snapper will comes with white bobbins (except those with FR) and the PU switch located near the edge of the body. Judged by the large PU pole pieces it seem more like a Schecter IMHO.
Rina said she have electric guitar at home but the model was never told. This one may possibly her.

I think you guys are forgetting that, first and foremost, they are making songs specifically for their upcoming live house tour. Whether or not they willl be on an album remains to be decided.

True but in that case would they need to "record" these songs like they seem to do? They were in studio several times now and seem to record normal songs (instrumental, vocal and all), it doesn't look like they are just recording some instrumental to use for a tour. I mean she said orchestral and singing, does a band need to fully record a song in a studio just to play it live in a concert? I'm no musician but that would make no sense to me =P

If no album/single is coming they would have simply rehearsed special songs for this tour, not record in the studio. But again I'm no musician so maybe I'm wrong here.

Well anyways, yes these songs are probably for the tour of course but it's hard to imagine they would record songs and make a "special" tour and then never release these songs. Especially if we consider the timeline and what they did these past years. A new album will come for sure, but we do not know exactly when.

I mean we have no real information (like how many new songs they are recording now or will play during the tour) but with what we know now (they are recording) it's logical to assume it's for a new album or in the worst case, as b-sides for the next singles.
