It's been decided!
Theme：RINA

A release has been decided for our new song 『Departure』 that we put on the web for one day on 3/3!
The B-side is 『Rainy』
Its release date is 4/23 (Wed.).

On the LEs are footage from our BEST★X'mas5 live at the end of last year.
It'd be great if those who couldn't come can enjoy it too,,

Thank you for requesting it on many radio stations and saying that you want to listen to it on a CD.
I didn't think it would be quite like this.
If you guys didn't voice yourselves,
It probably would have ended like that.
It definitely could have turned into a live song, or put on an album one dayー,,

We again learned of the power of our fans' voices.
Doing a single cut of these two songs is a pleasure we hadn't tasted until now.
We want to do more band things for everyone and for us!
I want you to be pleased and stay happy.
This is absolutely the number one song that we want to send extensively and profoundly.
I think it's the most powerful when songs like this become signature songs

Thanks Rina, I just wish sometimes Japanese groups did not work so hard, it is expensive being a J-Pop fan and most Japanese groups seem to release a new single about every two months !

Gonna buy the 2 DVDs editions, that's 20€ .boom.

Another nice blog from RINA with beautiful words.

I hope this single will be very successful, not only because they need to keep sales high and because it will surely be on their next album but also because this means A&B-sides are full SCANDAL songs!

I think it's a very important single for the band!

They said they want to create their own music more and now we have a full single with their songs so that means their staff and company is happy about it and supports them! Now I really hope this will be a new record for the sales, because if it is, not only will our 4 lovely girls be very happy but it will also prove them they are right to create more music and that they have a huge talent .love.

In other words, GO SCANDAL! Nice one

Her blog post however made me think that if the listeners/fans/viewers didn't request for it, there is a possibility that Departure may end up in as a part of an album release instead.

Hopefully this single will break records, reaching to 40k+ or even 50k+ in sales. It's a really special single after all. It's the mark of SCANDAL's hard work in creating their own songs. I do believe that the girls want to do other things on their own. I'm loving SCANDAL's chapter two of their careers.

Yeah I thought so too, the way she says it, it's like it was an option but they weren't sure and we could have got another song as single.

But they did make a PV for it with a 24h release. Maybe they decided for it a few days after that when they saw the fans reaction. Maybe they had 2 options and in the end decided for Departure.

50k sales that would be so awesome .cool. We will see.

Finally i'll listen to Rainy's full version, but i won't buy the CD this time again .whiteflag. My wallet is empty again...

Why are they releasing so much songs with a little interval?! I can't "follow their temp" xD
