Yeah, loaded up a lazy encode. But I think you're expecting a little too much of YouTube. YouTube's 1080p encodes are not well known for great quality.
It's watchable I guess. They actually waited until release to upload the fully version :p

Finally listened to these songs today (I have been actively avoiding it until the single was released). Love Rainy; still not big on Departure. It just sounds generic to me. It's probably one of those songs where it helps if you can natively understand the lyrics and sing along to it. There are a lot of popular songs in Japan that I don't see the appeal in, and native speakers usually tell me it's the lyrics.
But I do love Rainy.

I felt like you on Departure at the very beginning but after some plays I like it a lot more and once you know the lyrics it's even better.
But yes you have a point for the lyrics, it must help a lot sometimes. Lately I listened to some "big hits" from the oricon charts from the last years and some songs that topped the charts feel so generic and boring and awful it amazes me but I guess the lyrics must make a huge difference (i'm not talking about the commercial pop idol band songs).

I listened this single today. I thought "I wonder if they can make an album better than STANDARD" before . When I listened "Departure" I feel like they'll make an album better than STANDARD. I think they started to find their style and they evolved their music a lot.
