after looking at the covers for a while, I've started wondering if the cd case will be the classical one because the covers seems a little bit 'rectangular' to me, so maybe a longer-than-usual cd case (for example the temptation box cd+photobook one)? or is it just me? ahah

Oh... it's just awesome! Wonderful drums, guitar solo, in some moments it sounds like Shunkan but it's soooo amazing. 
I can't stop listen this. I'm in heaven. Scandal heaven.

rainy and departure are so good I preordered all three editions >_<

I have to say - this sounds like their best release yet. The two songs compliment each other so well - Rainy, as others have pointed out, is heavy Scandal at their coolest yet, while Departure is a real trickster - it's not the kind of song to blow you away immediately but sneaks up on you, the devil is in the details, the great rhythmic things Mami does with her guitar, the changing vocals - it's elegant songwriting.

Umm, Departure reached #65 in Billboard Japan Hot 100! (radio play??? but it did not chart on the Hot Top Airplay list... lol)

Loving these two songs!! They really seem to have matured and settled into their own sound, rock with a hint of pop and sentimentality, it seems they like the style they set with Metronome, Runner's High etc which is great since I loved those songs! I'm so glad they wrote both songs themselves! Another milestone reached for SCANDAL! <3 I remember when I was excited they wrote lyrics for themselves ^^ Hope to see an all self-composed album or at least EP in the near future as their next goal.

Two awesome songs, but if they are releasing so many versions of this single, they could make a version in which Rainy is the A side, and make a PV for it, too. Departure is incredible on its own, but I liked Rainy better.

I'm not the type of person who buys all versions of singles, so I'm really lost on which one to buy...

But that's not how singles work ^^ Also you wouldn't need to make a song A-side to release a PV, SCANDAL made PVs for some B-sides Latest was OVERDRIVE with the B-side SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE that got a PV too.

If you can only buy one edition I suggest you buy a limited edition, you can always buy a regular in some months or years but a limited edition is... well, limited/rare =P It also has more content! So just check the song list on the DVD to decide if you should go for limited A or limited B. I could take the 3 editions but if I had to choose only one I would have go with the limited A.
