Aimer (pronounced eh-meh, written エメ in katakana) is a new Japanese singer, debuted this year in 2011 and she is 21 years old.

Rokutosei no Yoru

was used as the ending theme in the anime No.6

Her 2nd single 'Re:pray' will be used as the ED theme for Bleach ^.^
I think this will lead to her name becoming much more well known!

I must say, I like her voice!

She may have meet Scandal as they are also working on 'Bleach'.

Is it me or she sounds like Yui in a way? She deserves her debut ^_^ what a nice voice she has! Being in Bleach will just boost her fame ^_^

She has a pretty powerful live voice as well

oh.. the one who sang the ED of Bleach. i must say that she resemble the voice of Yui. at first i thought yui is the one who sang the Re:Pray.

I just started listening to her around 5 days ago. I knew her because she sang the opening of Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works anime. Loving her vocal range. Amazing singer, and she always keeps her performances very mysterious which I also like by the way. Any songs for starters like me?

I'm also a fairly new fan to her. Just started being her fan 2 months ago after discovering that Taka from OOR made songs for her that are included in her latest album Daydream. , too, discovered her through Fate/Stay Night and she has already left me an impression but after seeing her doing this cover 

and listening to her latest album sealed my being a fangirl to her lol. I was firstly attracted to her beautiful, unique, emotional and distinguishable voice that is similar to that of chelly of Egoist; and the other thing is that she's giving off a mysterious presence around her that's simply giving a message of just appreciating her music and voice.

And aside from a Taka x Aimer collab, I also love her collab with Sawano Hiroyuki. It's just so heavenly  .dies.

I absolutely love Aimer. Her voice is so beautiful and often I listen to her when I'm going to sleep! Her latest album Daydream is probably my favourite!

She also sang backing vocals on OOR's Listen (feat Avril Lavigne) on their new album, Ambitions.

Yeah Aimer has a great voice, if you might have noticed she usually sings in the dark even at her concerts.

I did attend her free release live at Shibuya Tower Records for Chouchou Musubi.

For pre-ordering the single, we all got signed autograph "square card", her writing is so good at first I thought it was printed, (I checked some SNS photos and found other photos of it, it had variations so it was hand written!)

Tip, her name in Japanese is エメ Eme, so don't look under "あ" a aisle if you are in a Japanese record store.

So far her only appearance where she revealed her face is Music Station, photo below.

I came across her because she seems to be linked to a lot of Taka's stuff on Youtube (OOR)
Does anyone know if Taka like writes lyrics for her songs or something? He is a good lyricist...

I don't know, the titles of the videos on Youtube are really confusing.

For her 4th studio album "daydream" she collaborated with various artists including Taka. 

Also with OOR Ambition tour, Aimer will also be special guest for the Yokohama arena concert on April 20th 2017.

I wish I could go! I attended the Toronto part of the Ambitions tour last month

Honestly, the Yokohama Stadium is my dream venue to play at... I'd love to see them live there, and Aimer would only make it 10x better!!!!!!

Not a typical Aimer song but I love it the best!

Kataomoi is my favorite song from Aimer. My favorite songs from Aimer are those that makes me forget about the heat when I listen to it at a high temperature like 'Bananafish Beach and A Black Rainbow' and 'One'. I hope she makes more songs like this because it suits her voice but her angelic voice seems to be perfect at any genre. (´ε｀ )♡

anyone planning on pre-ordering her new double album? I was thinking of getting the 2CD + Bluray preorder, but not sure from which online store. At CDJapan it comes with 2 posters but apparently Amazon JP comes with 2 stickers (which is a higher price on Amazon)? But Amazon JP also has a "non-Amazon JP edition", so I have no clue if that comes with the posters or if it just has no special preorder bonuses.
